Men's Talk: 6 Denim Trends You Need To Know

A quality pair of jeans is a crucial wardrobe must-have for every modern man. Jeans is a classic and will always be one. Despite some media outlets sounding the death knell for denim, global sales of jeans are actually on the rise.

The amazing this is, denim is changing. Jeans makers are changing their designs to adapt to current trends. Jeans may be adapting to trends, but they haven't stopped trending. To guide you in your next pair, we've put together 6 current denim trends.

1. Straight jeans

The straight leg is an All-American classic.  It’s the traditional denim. it is cut straight from the hips down to the legs. This is a must have for every guy and it looks good on everyone.
2. Skinny slim jeans

Skinny and slim fits rule the denim kingdom. Skinny jeans are narrowly cut and close fitting with a little amount of stretch. Skinny jeans should never be completely skin tight because I don't think you'll be comfortable that way.

3. Ripped slim leg jeans

Ripped jeans are in now and the ripped slim leg jeans is also trending. The slim leg jeans are the most versatile fit and ripping it adds a bit of edge to the style. It’s also recommended, when buying slim leg jeans, buy one with a snug waistband fit. This is paramount to guarantee long-term comfort when you start to experience some stretch in the fabric.

4. Faded jeans

If you’re feeling tired of your old faithful indigo wash, then it’s time for a denim overhaul. The faded jeans are less harsh than the indigo wash. Faded jeans look really good, but there is a difference between faded and knackered. Please ensure you don't style your denim like you've been wearing the same pair of jeans for a year.

5. Unwashed jeans

Despite the current trend of stretched jeans, unwashed straight-leg indigo and black styles are still at the core of any solid denim line-up. Get a pair of indigo or black jeans in either a slim or straight fit.

6. White jeans

This is another trend to watch out for. White jeans give you another style to add to your denim rotation, and that are perfect for the denim on denim look. Avoid wearing bright colours in your outfit if you don’t want to look funny. White is bright enough, plain and simple with the rest of your ensemble is a sensible approach.
